An integral part of our cancer program is the cancer registry. As mandated by the state of New Jersey, we collect and analyze information on individuals diagnosed with cancer. All patients who are diagnosed with cancer are listed in the registry. This allows us to maintain contact with them and report follow-up care received and the outcome of the disease to state and national databases. In addition, researchers, health care providers and future patients will all benefit from an accurate and complete oncology database. In all circumstances, all data is held confidential.
